Frequently Asked Questions
Visiting Brio
What should I expect during my first visit?
Welcome to Brio. We’ve designed your experience to feel easy, comfortable, and restorative from the moment you arrive. Our team will check you in, review any required forms, walk you through your selected service, and answer any questions before you begin.
For your first visit, please arrive about 10–15 minutes early
Do I need an Appointment?
Advance reservations are recommended to ensure your preferred service and time are available. Same-day appointments may be available, and walk-ins are always welcome when space permits.
What should I wear?
It depends on your service:
● Infrared Sauna: Wear or bring comfortable sauna-appropriate attire.
● Red Light Therapy: For maximum light exposure, skin should be uncovered in the areas you’d like to treat. Our team will explain your options and make sure you’re comfortable.
● Halo Salt Therapy: Come as you are—you’ll remain fully clothed.
● PEMF Therapy: Comfortable, lightweight clothing works best.
● Compression Therapy: Comfortable or athletic clothing is ideal.
● IV Therapy & Vitamin Injections: Wear something comfortable that allows easy access to your arm.
Service-specific instructions will also be provided when appropriate.
What should I bring?
Not much—we want Brio to be easy.
Bring a valid photo ID and anything specifically requested for your service. We recommend arriving hydrated and leaving valuables at home. Brio will provide the essentials you need for your experience.
How early should I arrive?
First-time guests should arrive 10–15 minutes before their appointment so we have plenty of time to get you settled. Returning guests should arrive about five minutes early so sessions can begin on time.
Can minors use Brio’s services?
Certain nonmedical wellness services may be available to guests ages 16–17 with parent or guardian consent and presence.
Age requirements vary by service. IV therapy and vitamin injections have separate eligibility requirements and are provided only in accordance with Brio’s medical protocols and provider guidance.
Can I use more than one service during the same visit?
Absolutely. Many Brio modalities complement one another and can be combined into a personalized wellness experience.
Whether you’re looking to recover, recharge, relax, or simply take some time for yourself, our team can help you choose services and schedule them in an order that makes sense.
How often can I come to Brio?
Brio is designed to fit into your life—not just be something you do occasionally.
Frequency depends on the service, your goals, and individual considerations. Many guests incorporate wellness modalities into their routines several times per week, and certain services may even become part of a daily wellness routine when appropriate.
Our team can help you create a Brio routine that works for you. Medical services, including IV therapy and vitamin injections, follow individualized clinical guidance.
Wellness & Recovery Services
What is Full-Body Red Light Therapy?
Red Light Therapy is a non-invasive wellness modality that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to support cellular function.
Research suggests red and near-infrared light may support cellular energy production, muscle recovery, the body’s normal inflammatory response, circulation, and healthier-looking skin.
During your session, you’ll stand in Brio’s full-body red light system for a short, comfortable treatment.
What should I expect during an Infrared Sauna session?
Infrared sauna uses infrared heat to warm the body while creating a relaxing, deeply warming experience.
Regular sauna use may support relaxation, circulation, cardiovascular wellness, muscle recovery, and overall well-being. Most guests experience gradual warmth and perspiration throughout the session.
Arrive well hydrated, relax, and give yourself a few minutes to cool down afterward
What is Halo Salt Therapy?
Halo Salt Therapy—also known as halotherapy—is a relaxing, non-invasive wellness experience that takes place in Brio’s salt room.
A halogenerator disperses microscopic particles of pharmaceutical-grade salt into the air while you sit back, relax, and breathe normally.
Halotherapy is commonly used to support respiratory wellness, comfortable breathing, clearer-feeling airways, and skin wellness while providing a peaceful opportunity to unplug and reset.
Halotherapy is a complementary wellness service and is not intended to replace medical treatment.
What does PEMF Therapy feel like?
PEMF, or Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy, uses gentle electromagnetic pulses delivered through a specialized mat.
You’ll remain fully clothed, lie back, and relax. Depending on the setting, you may notice a subtle pulsing sensation—or very little sensation at all.
PEMF is used as a wellness and recovery modality to support relaxation, recovery, circulation, and overall well-being.
What does Compression Therapy feel like?
Brio uses Normatec Compression Therapy, which surrounds the legs with inflatable sleeves that sequentially compress and release.
It feels similar to a rhythmic massage, and the pressure can be adjusted for your comfort.
Compression therapy is popular for tired or heavy-feeling legs and may support circulation, fluid movement, and post-exercise recovery.
What will I feel during my session?
Every modality feels a little different. You may experience warmth during sauna, gentle pressure during compression, or subtle sensations during PEMF. Red light and halo salt therapy are generally passive and relaxing experiences.
Your session should feel comfortable. If something doesn’t feel right, simply let a Brio team member know.
How long are Brio wellness sessions?
Most Brio wellness modalities are intentionally easy to fit into your day.
Session times vary by service, but generally range from about 15–30 minutes. Our team will let you know exactly what to expect when you book.
Can I combine sauna, red light, salt, PEMF or compression on the same day?
In many cases, yes. Stacking complementary modalities is one of the ways guests can create a more complete Brio experience.
The best combination and order depend on the services you choose and your individual needs. Our team can help you build your session.
Should I hydrate before my appointment?
Yes—especially before infrared sauna, compression therapy, or IV therapy.
We recommend arriving well hydrated and continuing to drink water afterward. If your service requires additional preparation, we’ll let you know.
Do I need to shower after the sauna?
Not necessarily. Many guests prefer to cool down naturally and shower later, while others prefer to rinse off after their session. Choose what feels best for you and your schedule.
Can I come with a friend
Yes. Brio was created to be both restorative and social.
Some of our spaces and services can accommodate more than one guest, subject to availability. If you’d like to experience Brio together, let us know when booking so we can coordinate your appointments.
Are Brio’s wellness services appropriate for everyone?
Not every modality is appropriate for every person.
Pregnancy, certain medical conditions, medications, implanted medical devices, recent procedures, and other health considerations may affect which services are appropriate for you.
Please review the applicable safety information and share relevant health information before your session. When appropriate, we may recommend that you consult your healthcare provider before participating.
IV Therapy & Vitamin Injections
What happens when I book my first IV appointment?
Before receiving IV therapy, you’ll complete the required intake information and Good Faith Exam.
This allows a licensed medical provider to review relevant health information and determine whether IV therapy is medically appropriate for you. Once you’re cleared, your Brio medical team can provide treatment according to the provider’s orders and Brio’s clinical protocols.
What is a Good Faith Exam?
A Good Faith Exam is a medical evaluation completed by a licensed medical provider before certain medical wellness services.
It helps determine whether treatment is appropriate and safe based on your individual health information. Completing the evaluation does not automatically guarantee treatment; final eligibility is based on clinical judgment.
Do I need to complete my Good Faith Exam before arriving?
Yes. Please complete your intake information and Good Faith Exam as soon as you receive the link.
Completing it ahead of time helps keep your Brio visit easy and prevents your IV appointment from being delayed or rescheduled.
What happens during my IV appointment?
Your nurse will review your treatment, confirm relevant health information, answer your questions, and check your vital signs as appropriate.
Once you’re cleared for treatment, your nurse will place the IV and monitor you throughout your infusion. Then all you have to do is get comfortable and relax.
How long does IV therapy take?
Most IV infusions take approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on the selected infusion, your individual response, and your provider’s instructions.
Some specialty infusions may require additional time.
What are vitamin injections?
Vitamin injections—often called IM injections—deliver selected vitamins, nutrients, or other prescribed ingredients through an intramuscular injection.
They’re a quick option for guests who want targeted nutrient support without sitting for a full IV infusion. Available injections and frequency depend on your individual eligibility and provider orders.
What are vitamin injections?
Vitamin injections deliver concentrated nutrients directly into the muscle or under the skin for rapid absorption. Common options include B12, vitamin D, and other targeted nutrients to support energy, immunity, and overall wellness.
How long does a vitamin injection appointment take?
IM injections are one of Brio’s quickest medical wellness services. Once required screening and clearance are complete, the injection itself takes only a few minutes.
How should I prepare for IV therapy?
Come hydrated and eat a light meal beforehand unless your medical provider has instructed you otherwise.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your arm and provide complete and accurate information about your health history, medications, allergies, and supplements.
Who administers IV therapy and vitamin injections?
IV infusions and vitamin injections are administered by appropriately licensed and trained medical professionals in accordance with provider orders and Brio’s clinical protocols.
Is IV therapy appropriate for everyone?
No. Eligibility depends on your health history, current health, medications, allergies, vital signs, and the medical provider’s assessment.
Treatment may be adjusted, postponed, or declined if it is not considered appropriate or safe.
What happens if I’m not medically cleared for treatment?
Your safety always comes first.
If the medical provider or nurse determines that treatment is not appropriate, we’ll explain the next steps. A treatment that cannot proceed because Brio’s clinical team determines it is medically inappropriate will be handled according to Brio’s applicable medical-service policy rather than treated as a standard late cancellation.
Does Brio accept health insurance?
Brio is a self-pay wellness boutique and does not bill health insurance directly.
HSA/FSA eligibility varies by plan, so please check with your plan administrator regarding reimbursement eligibility.
Reservations & Memberships
What is Brio’s cancellation policy?
We know plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible.
For wellness and recovery services, cancellations or changes should be made at least 12 hours before your appointment. Cancellations within 12 hours will result in the loss of one membership credit or a charge of 50% of the scheduled à la carte service price. No-shows will forfeit the applicable credit or be charged 100% of the service price.
For IV therapy and vitamin injections, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations are subject to a 50% charge, and no-shows are subject to a 100% charge.
If an unexpected situation comes up, please contact us. We’ll always do our best to work with you when circumstances allow.
Do unused membership credits roll over?
Yes. Eligible unused credits may roll over according to the limits and terms of your membership plan, giving you flexibility when life gets busy.
Your membership agreement will outline your specific rollover allowance and any applicable expiration terms.
Do any memberships include IV therapy or vitamin injections?
Yes. Select Brio memberships and special membership offers may include IV therapy or vitamin injections as a monthly benefit.
Your membership description and agreement will clearly outline what is included in your plan.
Are results guaranteed?
No. Everyone responds differently to wellness services, and individual experiences and results vary.
Brio’s nonmedical wellness modalities are intended to support overall wellness and recovery and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions. Medical concerns should always be discussed with an appropriate healthcare professional.
